"Cake balls" are here! No offense to cupcakes, but these little cake treats are the perfect bite-sized cake treats in your favorite cake flavor, covered in a thin coating of chocolate (milk, dark or white) ...or in a flavored candy coating, if you prefer. 
Almost all of my usually offered cake flavors offered can be done as these little bite-sized munchkins, and can be shipped almost anywhere in the U.S. They're perfect by the dozen for a party, or just a single one as a treat with coffee.

Icing Flavors/Styles: 

Buttercream: A rich icing made by combining either butter or shortening with icing sugar and beating until smooth. An easy all-purpose icing that can be used to both ice and decorate a cake.
Fondant:  An icing sugar dough which can be manipulated and rolled into smooth sheets and draped over cakes to provide a flawless finish. Popular for wedding cakes, and in many of the "sculpted cakes" that are designed to look like everyday objects. My homemade recipe is much different than the original variety, and is less "doughy" and more sweet. Some people know it by the name "marshmellow fondant", but you will just call it delicious!
Ganache: A velvety smooth icing made by melting chocolate and combining with heavy cream.
Royal Icing: A sweet white icing made by whipping fresh egg whites with icing sugar. Royal icing produces well-defined icing edges and is ideal for piping intricate writing, borders, scrollwork and lacework. It dries very hard and preserves indefinitely if stored in a cool, dry place, but is susceptible to wilting in high humidity.
